Services I Provide
I provide professional, certified fitness training programs that accommodate clients' needs in order to help them obtain their health and fitness goals.
Below is a list of the specific services that I offer during sessions. During our initial consultation, we will decide which service(s) fit your needs best, and I will tailor a training program that will best help you achieve your goals

Strength Training
Feel Stronger & More Efficient
Strength training can provide several benefits such as improved functional ability, hormonal health, and a reduced risk of injury. Whether it's getting you to do your first pull-up, improve your number of consecutive push-ups, be able to lift heavier weights, or just maintain your strength, I am here to help! From these sessions, you will learn how to perform these exercises with proper form as well as have the assistance of a spotter and motivator!

Cardiovascular Training (Including Running-Specific Training!)
Get Your Heart Rate Up!
As many people know, having a robust cardiovascular system is one of the most important determinants that ensures several long-term health benefits including but not limited to weight loss, a healthier heart, and an improved mood. Depending on what your preferences are, I provide high intensity interval training (HIIT) and low intensity steady state (LISS) training programs.

For runners who are interestesd, I also provide running specific training plans, particularly geared toward those who have running specific goals (e.g. completing a half marathon for the first time, running a 10k without stopping, couch to 5k, and so forth)

Athletic-Based Training
Get Speedy & Athletic!
These programs are designed to help people improve athleticism and/or athletic skills, whether you want to improve your speed, power, agility, quickness, coordination, balance, or sport specific abilities. These programs are mainly geared toward athletes or clients looking to improve their speed, agility, or quickness, whether for a specific sport or just to have more fun in learning how to run faster. However, they can also help the ordinary person become more functional in their everyday lives, so while not targeted, this is not limited at all!
Manual Labor Services
Train for Life!

Fitness is not just about being the fastest person on the field or on the course, nor is it about being able to lift the heaviest weights in the gym, having the best-looking physique, nor having the lowest resting heart rate. While many of those are all definitely good indicators of high fitness levels, it does not merely determine how well somone is able to survive on their own.

During one of my final semesters of undergrad, I remember one of my college psychology professors giving a lecture on fitness and referring it to as "the one who shows the greatest levels of adaptibility and ability to survive" (Stahlman, 2024, Cognitive Neuroscience [Lecture], University of Mary Washington). So, in its purest form, fitness is largely figured out based on one's own ability to survive on their own. So, an individual with high fitness levels is someone who has the ability to survive on their own without necessarily needing assistance from others. (DISCLAIMER: This does not mean that you need to become hyperindependent & try to do literally everything all on your own without any help from other people! Rather, asking for help can actually be a sign of strength and a great survival skill as long as it is not become codependent in nature and that it effectively teaches you new skills in being able to actually do things on your own!)

More often than not, I see too many people using improper form, working too many hours with no breaks, or not knowing how to fuel themselves properly with nutrition and rest during these endeavors. Moreso, I also see too many people avoiding or feeling intimidated by physical labor because of these inherent risks that it represents.

Whether that's needing assistance getting out of your driveway during a heavy snow/ice storm, learning how to use a shovel or rake without pulling your back, or not knowning how to pace yourself when performing physical labor, I am here to offer help! As somone who has been through all of that with a decade's worth of experience for all four seasons of the year, I know that it can improve your physical condition and also teach you a lot!
If applicable, rates of charge will vary depending on the nature of the beast or situation and may even be free in some circumstances!
